The program has been dispersed across the site, responding to the differing landscapes and conditions found at Shillim. The hotel perches alongside a nallah; the spa has been sited within the existing rice fields, where changing levels provide an opportunity to nestle buildings into the landscape. The presence and absence of water in the monsoon and dry seasons ensure that this will be an everchanging environment.
