Collaboration - The design team is composed of an international group of architects, landscape architects and designers, sustainability engineers, and consultants in the hotel, equestrian and marketing industries, as well as leaders in the field of spiritual rejuvenation.

Water Harvesting - Because of the high velocity of the monsoon rain and the erosion that has occurred on the site, very little water percolates down into the ground, and almost no groundwater exists beneath the site. Our task is to encourage groundwater recharge by using check dams and contour swales and other low technology techniques.

Reforestation - Much of the site has suffered erosion and deforestation due to the erosive monsoon rain, clearing and grazing. We began the reforestation process two years before construction, selecting appropriate plant species, and establishing nurseries on site to propogate plantings.
