The city's architects developed structures to aerate the water. This sculptural detail allows water to flow from one water pool to another. Part of our role was to develop a landscape vocabulary; we focused on traditional landscape construction methods that existed in the city's parks and gardens, such as the use of riverstone. |

The park has become many things to the city: a place for environmental education, much needed green open space, wildlife habitat, recreation and event space, and a cultural destination. |
